We are thrilled to introduce the EDGE Green Scholars Experience, a unique one-week work experience programme designed specifically for students aged 14 to 16 launching in July 2024.
Who is the Programme For?
Specifically developed for motivated and enthusiastic students aged 14 to 16 with a keen interest in sustainability, environmental science, business, and technology wanting to gain a deeper understanding of how a leading energy performance company operates
What Will You Gain?
The EDGE Green Scholars Experience aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of our business, focusing on the environmental benefits of our work. Here’s what you can expect to gain from this enriching programme:
Departmental Insights:
Explore various departments within EDGE EPC, including Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Technical.
Learn about our sustainability practices and the significant environmental impact of our projects.
Hands-On Projects:
Engage in interactive sessions on how we identify and acquire customers.
Work on hands-on projects identifying potential properties for retrofit and developing marketing literature.
Professional Skills Development:
Develop networking and professional communication skills through workshops and real-world interactions.
Gain commercial understanding by participating in office activities, including ordering materials, project planning, and ensuring project compliance for funders.
Presentation Skills:
Prepare and present a summary of your learnings and experiences at the end of the week, receiving valuable feedback from our team.
